Combining 60s experimentation with the wayfaring innocence of early America, James Apollo recreates the dusty world of his dreams. The record moves from the rich western pump organs of “Where All Love’s Pilgrim’s Come” to the sugar vibro-rythyms of “I’ve Got it Easy”, in which, if Apollo’s heart is not on his sleeve, it’s not hiding anywhere.
